Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Adjunct Therapist within our Eating disorders outpatient unit in Somerville, NJ. This position will focus on mental health rehabilitation through the creative arts.
Qualifications:
Required:
Minimum 3 years of Creative Art Therapies,
Licensure commensurate with the degree,
Preferred:
Supervisory experience preferred,
Acute setting and Behavioral Health experience preferred,
Eating disorder experience a plus,
Scheduling Requirements:
Essential Functions:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate therapeutic, educational and diversionary recreation services to restore, remediate and/or rehabilitate effects if illness and disability,
Through the provision of therapy, programs, resources, and support staff work with patients to encourage the development of satisfying recreational interests and skills for participation in departmental recreational programs,
