REPORTS TO : Operations Manager

ORGANIZATION : CNM is the leading nonprofit management consulting firm in North Texas with offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. CNM’s mission is to strengthen communities by working with nonprofits and other stakeholders to focus on results through strategic management and data expertise and leading-edge technology.

ROLE SUMMARY : This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) based at CNM’s Dallas campus but with the expectation of minimal trips to CNM’s Fort Worth campus. Schedule will be determined based on duties and availability. Monday through Thursday in-person, Friday remote . Pay is $18.75 per hour with the opportunity to earn a bonus of 5% of paid base wages.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the President and CEO, as well as all CNM departments including Education, Strategic Consulting, Outcomes and Evaluation Consulting, and Marketing and Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Answer incoming calls and screen inquiries about CNM services.
  • Assist clients over the phone and via email with registering for education programs, paying invoices via credit card, and answering basic questions about CNM services.
  • Prepare documents and schedule meetings for the President and CEO and all departments.
  • Assist Operations Manager as needed with proofreading documents and presentations, contract execution, and CNM-pact® client dashboard reviews.
  • Support the Operations Manager with administrative tasks related to Human Resources, Finances, IT, and Facilities in Dallas and Fort Worth.
  • Ensure conference rooms are clean before and after meetings and appropriately set-up.
  • Ensure that all staff common areas are clean and kept in good order.
  • Greet and validate parking for CNM meeting participants, as well as check-in participants for all education programs at both CNM locations.
  • Provide logistical support for all CNM Education Services, including, but not limited to: scheduling and booking campus conference rooms, setting-up Zoom meetings for online classes, creating online registration forms, and assisting with preparing course materials.
  • Maintain accurate client records in CNM’s CRM (Salesforce) for all programs.
  • Provide administrative support for CNM Membership program, including updating and maintaining accurate records for all CNM members in Salesforce and MailChimp.
  • Provide customer support as needed for CNM’s Opportunity 501 Job Board.
  • Assist with the execution of CNM’s annual A Night of Light event.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High school diploma required. College degree preferred.
  • At least two years administrative experience with strong customer service skills required.
  • At least two years knowledge and experience using the latest versions of Windows-based software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Proficient use of various A/V technologies preferred. Experience with Salesforce, SurveyMonkey, WordPress, and MailChimp is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, with a keen attention to detail.
