As a clinical pharmacist, you will provide a variety of clinical services based on data-driven insights and collaboration with our members. Your contributions will play a vital role in reducing healthcare costs, managing disease states, and enhancing patient outcomes.
About the Role
The clinical pharmacist position offers a unique approach to healthcare. You will engage with members continuously and utilize a digital platform to support their needs. You'll also oversee our clinical products, ensuring they align with established guidelines while considering individual patient needs and plan benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Review claims information and clinical data to make evidence-based recommendations.
Assist members with downloading and using our health app.
Conduct digital clinical engagements with members to provide ongoing support.
Refer members to employer-sponsored programs as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to make therapy recommendations.
Work alongside team members on various aligned projects.
Contribute to the development of clinical and member-focused products.
Participate in client and prospect calls when necessary.
Provide clinical coverage outside of regular working hours as required.
Minimum Qualifications
PharmD or equivalent advanced degree with a valid pharmacist license in good standing in a US state.
Completion of residency training (PGY-1 or PGY-2).
At least 2 years of experience interacting with patients and healthcare professionals.
Strong analytical skills and sound judgment.
Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in using database and reporting tools.
Comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical therapy and direct patient care.
Solid knowledge of drug administration and disease state management.
Must be able to work remotely but agree to travel as needed.
Familiarity with how ongoing digital relationships can enhance member outcomes in drug therapy.
Preferred Qualifications
Multi-state licensure.
Experience in digital health.
Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCACP).
