Digital PR & Marketing Coordinator

Entry-mid level. 3+ years experience in Digital PR and/or Social Media Marketing. Reports to Digital PR/Social Managers and/or Digital Marketing Director.

We are currently looking to add a Digital PR & Marketing Coordinator to our team – someone who understands how to listen to the marketplace, reach the right audiences with the right messages, positively influence our client's business goals with effective communication – and have a little fun while you're at it!

  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to know everything there is to know about the brand, and effectively represent it.

  • Create content (long form and short form), and publishing it throughout various social channels and blogs.

  • Monitor and manage dialogue throughout various social channels.

  • Identify and create engagement opportunities that will help grow your audience and increase brand awareness.

  • Support the team in analyzing and reporting on a variety of KPIs.


  • Minimum 3 years experience working on a digital/social media team. Agency experience preferred.
  • Tactical knowledge of all primary social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Google+ and LinkedIn. You understand how to creatively and effectively market content through these platforms in order to achieve client business goals.
  • Thirst for social knowledge. You stay up to date on all the most current social trends and developments, and are continually looking for ways to use that knowledge to the benefit of your clients.
  • Technical and creative writing capabilities. You can define a topic, gather information, develop well-written content, AND help brainstorm creative ways to get your audience interested in it. You can write everything from a press release pitch to a timely blog post on a trending topic.
  • Engagement. You are both knowledgeable about and comfortable with the process of reaching out to new audiences and turning that connection into increased awareness and business results.You know how to develop strategic relationships with industry thought leaders and influencers in order to secure opportunities for our clients.
  • Positive and professional attitude. You’re able take initiative as well as constructive critique, to be accountable for your own responsibilities, to continually add value to the team and for our clients.
  • Organization and time management skills. You're a pro at keeping track of and organizing all the details and deadlines associated with social media community management and PR activities.
  • Commitment to personal growth and development.

Bonus Skills

  • Graphic design and/or photography experience. Working knowledge of Photoshop. You may not be an expert, but you at least know the basics.
  • Familiarity with social management platforms like Hootsuite, Sprout and WordPress.
