We have been engaged by a confidential client to find an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a dynamic and growing team. Electrical Estimator Compensation & Benefits:
* Total compensation ranges from $75,000 to $115,000, based on experience, with potential for higher earnings for candidates with exceptional experience and a strong performance history.

Electrical Estimator Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prepare proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required contents of estimate.
* Handle commercial projects and light industrial jobs.
* Attend pre-bid meetings and tour job sites to confirm requisite take-offs.
* Calculate complete take-offs to prepare estimates.
* Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures, including pricing information from suppliers obtained through direct contact, sales brochures, price lists, software uploads, etc.
* Support other department personnel as required, which may include assisting with estimates in other disciplines.
* Review design options and recommend the best solution based on cost, engineering quality, and/or availability of materials.
* Interface with clients on bid-walks.
* Provide support to field operations regarding electrical estimates.
* Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Electrical Estimator Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3-10 years' experience with an electrical contractor.
* Familiarity with Accubid, McCormick, and Conest software.
* Working knowledge of electrical installation, estimating techniques, and cost control.
* Ability to interpret computerized cost data and systems.
* Ability to perform detailed work and meet deadlines successfully.
* Must have a stable work history.
* Previous management or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
