We are currently seeking a qualified Estimator/Project Manager to join our expanding team. This position is responsible for leading both estimating and project management functions across multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience with local, state, and federal government projects is highly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in estimating and 3 years’ experience in project management (field experience a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review construction plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform detailed and accurate quantity take-offs.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors regarding project scope, schedule, and risks.
  • Provide innovative, practical solutions to project challenges.
  • Estimate and manage projects ranging from $50,000 to $10,000,000.
  • Lead preconstruction planning and provide oversight through project completion.
  • Supervise and support the Superintendent in day-to-day construction activities.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and financial targets to ensure profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules in collaboration with the Superintendent.
  • Ensure environmental, stormwater, and safety programs are followed in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee quality control initiatives and project closeout documentation.
  • Demonstrate strong delegation, follow-through, and leadership.
  • Maintain a professional, dependable, and ethical approach in all work.
