John Hinderer Honda is looking for dependable Express Lube Technicians to join our team! We're looking for talented, team-oriented, energetic individuals who are excited about growing and developing along with our Service Department. Job Duties & Responsibilities: As an Express Technician, you’re one of the most important team members at John Hinderer Honda. You’re responsible for showing our guests an “express” experience and getting them back on the road quickly. You’ll provide light vehicle maintenance, keep a safe, neat workspace, and manage your responsibilities with honesty and integrity. Your work will ensure guests leave 100% satisfied with their John Hinderer Honda experience. This role is a great entry point into your career with us! *Must provide your own tools* What You’ll Do:

• Deliver your guests’ cars on time, every time, as promised by the Service Advisor
• Perform oil changes, check batteries, and top off fluids as needed
• Inspect brakes and suspension components
• Rotate, repair, mount, and balance tires according to vehicle standards
• Conduct multi-point inspections (40-point inspection) and endorse manufacturers' recommended maintenance based on those inspections
• Perform minor services including transmission fluid, rear differential fluid, front differential fluid, brake fluid flush, power steering fluid flush, fuel induction service, windshield wiper, and engine air and cabin filter replacements
• Take detailed notes during and post-inspection
• Always maintain a clean shop; empty trash, oil drains, take out oil filters, etc.
• Work with your team to prepare and service vehicles efficiently
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership guidelines
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Perform minor recalls and minor repairs under manufactures factory warranty
• Ensure all service cars receive a free car wash, unless vehicle has body damage, bike rack, tow rack, etc. If unsure, please confirm

License: * Driver's License and clean driving record (required) Experience:

• Tech school or in shop experience
• Lube Tech: 1 year (preferred)
