Mechanical Assembler – Manufacturing
Minneapolis, MN | $45,000 - $52,000 | 4-Day Work Week | Direct Hire or Contract-to-Hire

Position Highlights

• 4-Day Work Week : Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Competitive Pay : $20 – $25/hour based on experience
• Direct Hire and Contract-to-Hire Options Available
• Work on High-Precision Products Supporting U.S. Government and Defense Contracts

Mechanical Assembler - Manufacturing Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and complete units using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to guide assembly processes.
• Install components including helicoils, PEM fasteners, and rivets with precision.
• Conduct visual inspections and use measurement tools to ensure all products meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Support cross-functional team efforts and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Mechanical Assembler - Manufacturing  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school certification is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or metal manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Effective time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and comply with all federal work authorization requirements.

Physical Requirement

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, stooping, crouching, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Regular use of hand and power tools; ability to perform repetitive motions.
• Work environment includes exposure to airborne particles, mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels.
