Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Create Engaging Lessons: Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum, ensuring students grasp both the theoretical and practical aspects of medical assisting.
Teach Core Subjects: Provide instruction in key areas such as medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical procedures, patient care, and medical office administration.
Demonstrate Best Practices: Model proper techniques, safety protocols, and ethical standards, helping students build a strong foundation in medical assisting.
Foster a Positive Environment: Cultivate a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.
Hands-On Guidance: Supervise students during laboratory work, simulations, and clinical practice, offering real-time feedback and instruction.
Assess Progress: Evaluate student performance through exams, practical assessments, and ongoing feedback, supporting their professional development.
Support Student Success: Identify and address individual learning needs, providing additional support to students who require it.
Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in medical assisting, ensuring your instruction reflects current practices.
Collaborate and Innovate: Work with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to program improvements.
Maintain a Safe Learning Space: Ensure that the classroom and laboratory are clean, organized, and safe for all students.
Mentorship: Serve as a mentor and resource for students, offering guidance and support as they progress through the program.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credentials preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing medical assistant.
Prior teaching or training experience, especially in medical assisting or healthcare education, is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical assisting principles, practices, and industry standards.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
A genuine passion for educating and mentoring aspiring medical assistants.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
Proficiency in using instructional technology and multimedia resources.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical office software.
Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports student success.
Basic computer skills are required.
Work Schedule:
Day and evening positions available, with the possibility of a partial work-from-home/remote schedule.
